State Grant Supports Public Safety for East Broad Top Railroad

HARRISBURG – A $100,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) will help add a critical fire suppression system in the East Broad Top Railroad (EBT) machine-shop complex, according to Sen. Judy Ward (R-30) and Rep. Rich Irvin (R-81).

Irvin Cancels April 21 Senior Expo

Irvin Suspending Walk-In Service at District Offices Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Irvin to Host Robert E. Gensimore Memorial Bridge Dedication Ceremony

WHAT: Rep. Rich Irvin (R-Huntingdon/Centre/Mifflin) will host a bridge dedication ceremony for local PennDOT employee Robert Gensimore, who was killed in the line of duty on Feb. 17, 2018. The bridge is located along State Route 453 in Tyrone Township, Blair County. Irvin authored the legislation to name the bridge, which was signed into law as part of Act 59 of 2019.

Irvin, Ward Announce $500,000 for New Retaining Wall Along Pennsylvania Avenue in Mount Union Borough

HARRISBURG – Funding to address a major transportation and safety concern in Mount Union Borough has been approved today by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) under the Multimodal Transportation Fund. A grant of $500,000 has been awarded to the borough to replace the retaining wall along Pennsylvania Avenue Linear Park, according to Rep. Rich Irvin (R-Huntingdon/Centre/Mifflin) and Sen. Judy Ward (R-Blair/Fulton/Cumberland/Franklin/Huntingdon), who both advocated strongly for the funding.

Irvin Honors the Late Capt. Joseph Giacobello with Bridge Naming
