Irvin to Host Concealed Carry Seminar in Huntingdon

April 11, 2017

HARRISBURG – Rep. Rich Irvin (R-Huntingdon/Mifflin/Centre) is hosting a Concealed Carry Seminar on Thursday, May 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the Smithfield Fire Hall, 10 Firehouse Lane in Huntingdon.

“I encourage everyone who owns a firearm or who is considering purchasing one to attend this event and learn more about the state’s firearms laws,” said Irvin. “We will have a presentation by law enforcement officials and have time to take questions from attendees.”

Speakers at the event will be Huntingdon County Interim Sheriff Jeff Leonard and Huntingdon County District Attorney Dave Smith. They will discuss Pennsylvania’s concealed carry and firearms laws, as well as the state’s Castle Doctrine.

Concealed carry license applications through the Huntingdon County Sheriff’s Office will also be available during the event.
