Irvin Announces Veterans Assistance Hours Feb. 12 in Huntingdon
January 22, 2020
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Rich Irvin (R-Huntingdon/Centre/Mifflin) today announced that his district office in Huntingdon will be hosting veterans’ assistance hours Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon.
“During these hours, veterans can meet with a veterans’ service officer from the American Legion to have their questions answered about benefits and services available to them,” said Irvin. “I encourage area veterans to take advantage of this valuable, personalized service.”
Some of the services available to veterans and their dependents include assistance with compensation, pension, death benefits, education and health care, as well as any issues pertaining to veterans benefits.
The district office is located at 612 Pennsylvania Ave. in Huntingdon. Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion to receive these services.
To schedule an appointment, please call Irvin’s office at 814-644-2996.
