Attendees are eligible for a discount on their auto insurance
HARRISBURG – Rep. Rich Irvin (R-Huntingdon/Mifflin/Centre) is hosting a Seniors for Safe Driving program scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fellowship Center at Westminster Woods,
360 Westminster Drive, Huntingdon.
“This program is designed for older drivers looking to improve their driving skills and learning how to adapt for many of the challenges facing older motorists,” said Irvin. “I encourage older drivers to consider taking this helpful program that will have them walking out the door with applicable information they can start using right away.”
Irvin noted that the class is for both first-time attendees, as well as those just needing a refresher.
The program is open to drivers age 55 and older. There is no on-the-road driving required and no exam will be given. At the completion of the class, motorists will be eligible to receive a minimum 5 percent discount on their auto insurance.
Individuals interested in attending the class can register online at
